Kiddos Guide is a California-based telehealth practice serving children, teens, adults, and families throughout California. Telehealth allows clients to receive therapy from the comfort and convenience of their own home.
Limited in-home services may also be available for families in select areas. Because these services are highly individualized and involve additional planning and support, they are offered on an out-of-network, private-pay basis.
-
Telehealth sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. All you need is a private space, a reliable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone.
For children, sessions are designed to be engaging and interactive. Depending on your child's age and goals, therapy may include games, visual supports, activities, movement, parent coaching, and practical skill-building to keep sessions meaningful and developmentally appropriate.

Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of services.
I am happy to provide this estimate before your first appointment so you can make an informed decision about your care.
-
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We will discuss your concerns, goals, strengths, and the challenges that brought you to therapy.
For child clients, I also spend time getting to know your child's interests, personality, and developmental needs while gathering information from caregivers. Together, we'll create a treatment plan that feels collaborative, individualized, and focused on meaningful progress.
-
Every person and every family is different. Some clients seek therapy for short-term support around a specific concern, while others benefit from longer-term care as they continue developing new skills and working toward their goals.
Throughout therapy, we will regularly review progress together and adjust treatment based on your evolving needs.
-

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without prior notification may be subject to a late cancellation or no-show fee. This policy helps ensure appointment availability for all families.

Yes. Protecting your privacy is an important part of the therapeutic relationship. Everything discussed during therapy is kept confidential, with a few legal and ethical exceptions required by law, such as concerns about safety, suspected abuse or neglect, or court orders.
At the beginning of therapy, I will review confidentiality with you and answer any questions you may have so you feel informed and comfortable.
-
Yes. I believe meaningful change happens when caregivers feel supported too. Parent collaboration is an important part of the therapeutic process, and the level of involvement will depend on your child's age, developmental needs, and treatment goals.
Together, we'll develop practical strategies that support progress both during sessions and in everyday life.
